T-Shirts and Hooded Tops

Because of the change over from Iron Fist back to CRCA, we are in a slight state of flux regarding clothing. We do have some t-shirts and hooded tops left which display the old style logo. Any clothing we supply in the future will carry the official CRCA logos.

At the moment we are not printing our own CRCA t-shirts - we are relying on Randy bringing them with him when he comes over for seminars. This may change in the future when the Iron Fist/CRCA transition settles down.

Leen Goang Jau

This is the Iron Palm medicine that is used in the class. We strongly urge any student who wants to practice Sandbag striking or Iron Palm at home to purchase some medicine. It is not healthy to practice without it.

We use Randy's original recipe, containing the correct herbs. The herbs are shipped over from the CRCA in America. This is because it is virtually impossible to purchase the exact herbs here in the UK (some of them are toxic. You may be offered alternative herbs but we can't guarantee they will work as well).

Please note this is Leen Goang Jau, not Dit Da Jau. There is a difference. Dit Da Jau is used to soothe injuries, where Leen Goang Jau also helps to prevent them from occurring in the first place (it is "proactive" as well as "reactive").

If you would like to use Leen Goang Jau, please buy it from us. This is not for our profit - we do not make profit on it, we purely charge for the ingredients. The reason why you should buy it from us rather than from a martial arts store, online shop, eBay etc, is because we can guarantee that the ingredients are correct and that the medicine works. If you buy it from elsewhere, there is always a possibility it will not do the correct job, which presents a risk to your health.

Rattan Rings and Steel Rings

We can supply training rings made of Rattan measuring the correct dimensions required for CRCA training.

We can also supply steel rings that match the same dimensions. These are harder and heavier (around 2.3 kg) for developing greater stamina in the shoulders and improved arm conditioning. Beginners may find it difficult to use a steel ring until their stamina and conditioning has reached a certain level. For this reason, we usually advise to begin training using a rattan ring. We advise more advanced students to get both types of ring. Sometimes you want to train with a lighter rattan ring, sometimes you want a more intense workout with the steel ring.

Books and DVDs

We are fortunate that our chief instructor, Sifu Randy Williams, has produce probably the best set of Wing Chun books and DVDs on the planet! Good news is that what you see in the books/DVDs is exactly what we teach. Therefore they are 100% relevant.

If you are a CRCA UK student, please come to us first before buying books/DVDs elsewhere. This is because we can usually supply a discount and save you money (strictly CRCA members only).

Wooden Dummies

It is very difficult to find good dummies here in the UK. The best seen so far are those sold by Sifu Steve Dyde through his eBay Shop. I met him and had a close look at two of his dummies. There were both of very good quality. If you wanted to go and look at the dummies before purchase, I'm sure he would oblige.

We would strongly advise anyone who wants to buy a dummy to visit the shop/seller and try it out before purchase. They are expensive, so it worth making sure you are 100% happy before handling over the money. A good dummy should last a lifetime so choose wisely!

Weapons

The best Knives and Poles seen so far are those sold by Sifu Steve Dyde through his eBay Shop. I have personally purchased a set of knives and a pole from him and they are of excellent quality.
