New Nottingham Club

Posted by Andy Walker on August 29, 2008

We will be opening a brand new club in Nottingham, with the first class commencing on October 2nd 2008.

The class will run every Thursday evening 8 to 10pm at the Rushcliffe Arena, West Bridgford. This is situated just off Wilford Lane, easily accessible from the A52 (Clifton Boulevard).

The arena has its own private car park and as a sports centre also has male/female changing rooms and showers.

As a new club all beginners are welcome and also of coarse existing CRCA students. You will be taught by the CRCA UK chief instructor Jason Clarke, who has studied under Sifu Randy Williams for 14 years.

The training fee will be £6 per lesson.

Our style of Wing Chun is one of the most progressive taught today and as a close range and deadly fighting art it is ideal for enabling effective self-defence in today's violent society. Regular training will condition the body and improve both internal and external fitness.

The class will open to male and female beginners with a minimum age of 14 years. We are currently looking to increase our female student intake, so please come and give it a try. After all, Wing Chun was originally invented by a woman to help her defeat bigger and stronger assailants (i.e. men!).

If you would like to come along, please wear tracksuit bottoms, trainers and a t-shirt (or any similar gym/training gear). Also bring £6 for the cost of the lesson (correct change if possible).

The induction period will last for six weeks, so don't worry if you can't make the first night. If you want to start lessons after that period, please contact Jason on 07852302710 for advice.

We have added the club to our beginner's mailing list. Sign up to that and you will be sent a reminder email a week before the class starts. Please feel free to contact Jason on 07852302710 if you have any questions regarding the new class.
